Controls Engineer

 Controls Engineer to work in Jacksonville, FL.   Provide leadership to engineers & Level 1 engineers in the form of technical, procedural & organizational guidance.  Design, develop & integrate new functionality across all line conversions.  Perform detail design reviews for each functionality change developed.  Investigate root causes of manufacturing & safety issues.  Propose software changes to address issues identified.  Create related PLC code documentation, PLC ladder logic comments, written technical configuration.  Align technical team to a set of tasks based on PLC optimization.  Provide engineering with all documentation & verify all procedures for maintenance are correct for maintenance & operations manuals.  Must have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, be a Professional Engineer with 60 months engineering experience.    Send CV and references to 13421 Manchester Road, Suite 106, St. Louis, MO 63131  or email ram@sovereigntec.com.
